manufactures the same top quality steel
folding gates built by Folding Guard since
1962.
In 2003, Dean Wynne, former president of
Folding Guard, and son of Folding Guard
founders Don and Virginia Wynne, established
IEP in order to concentrate exclusively on
the design and manufacture of the heavy-duty
steel folding gates that Folding Guard had
built since 1962. Folding Guard continues to
manufacture a wide variety of safety and
security products, but the gates it once
made are manufactured today solely by
Illinois Engineered Products.
Illinois Engineered Products is still the
only manufacturer of heavy-duty galvanized
steel gates in America. The company is
located in a new 50,000 square foot facility
specifically for gate manufacturing. The
name has changed, but the great gates
businesses have been demanding for more than
40 years are still the same.
